Welcome to the Waterloo's "Church in the Woods"a church community that meets to worship together Sunday mornings at 10:30 and then disperses to live the faith where we are planted.
Our church is a fully welcoming community of people committed to share their life-long journey of following Jesus with all who come. You can learn more about our various ministries as you explore this site, but the best way to get to know us is to be part of the worshiping community on any Sunday morning at 10:30.
We are located close to both the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University. We are on the northern edge of the tech campus, just north the Columbia sports facility.
Check us out if you're looking for community, Sunday worship, and Christian university friends! Extra incentive: We offer free lunch the first Sunday of each month after the morning service!
Campus Chaplain Melissa Burmaster serves both university campuses. See waterloocampusministry.ca for more information.
Land acknowledgement
We acknowledge that the land on which we gather to worship is located on the Haldimand Tract, land that was granted to the Haudenosaunee of the Six Nations of the Grand River and is within the territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabe, and Haudenosaunee peoples. We acknowledge the enduring presence of the Indigenous peoples who lived and worshipped here before us and with whom we care for this land today.
